From opportunity to partnership
We help our clients at different stages of their international business development. Some wish to know where to focus and who the right trade partners are. Others want us to make the connection and guide the conversations as well.
We support the process in four stages. We begin with Scope, and from there, our clients decide how far we go: Match, Connect or Engage. Throughout, our objective remains the same: to bring companies together where there is genuine potential for mutual value.
The four stages:
Scope
Knowing where to focus
Where are the strongest international opportunities for a product or brand? After building a clear understanding of the offering and its commercial value, we analyse markets and competition, and assess where that value is most relevant. Together with our clients, we then prioritise market segments based on fit and commercial potential.
Match
Finding the right partners
With clear priorities in place, we define what the right partner looks like in each market. We systematically identify, research and assess companies based on their position, portfolio, capabilities and fit. We validate and select the strongest candidates, creating a clear basis for deciding which companies to approach.
Connect
From match to conversation
We develop a relevant and respectful approach for each selected company and initiate contact on behalf of the makers and brands we represent. We follow up carefully and establish whether there is mutual interest in exploring the opportunity further.
Engage
Developing the conversation
Once there is mutual interest, we reassess fit and commercial impact for both sides. From there, we develop the conversations, building mutual value and guiding both companies towards a durable trade relationship.
